Sao Paulo [DazzCam]

Work brought me down to Sao Paulo for a week in September. The city is staggeringly big, the traffic is terrible, and the people are wonderful. Set against the backdrop of concrete buildings and massive boulevards, the city is dressed in color. Locals will say it’s ugly and that if you’re looking for a better looking city to head to Rio, but there’s something to SP. Maybe it’s the pockets of nature springing up alongside busy streets, or massive trees in the heart of downtown, but SP won me over.

I didn’t have my camera on this trip, so these are all shot with the DazzCam app for iPhone (thanks Kris). It was a lot of fun fiddling with the film simulations, and it took me about half the trip before I figured out how to remove the fake film looks from the jpegs–but so it goes.
